You know you are losing weight when....
You know you are losing weight when you can fit into a pair of trousers you probably haven't worn for 3 years.
Hard though it is to actually admit (and therefore commit to) online that I have actually been losing weight, I'm now ready to admit that having been the wrong side of 158kg (25 stone - a bit of a shock - I can tell you) at the start of November 2005 I'm now in and around 146kg (just under 23 stone) almost six months later.
To be honest looking in the mirror, I can't personally tell any difference, although clothes wise there has been a pretty dramatic difference - dress trousers have reduced from a belt busting 52" waist to nearly 46"'s, with jeans going from 50" to 46", as for tops, all of my XXL rugby shirts are now almost all wearable.
Soon I'll have to either get a new wardrobe, or allow the boil wash to give a helping hand.
Having lost just over 2 stone, the fact that I need to lose another 9 stone probably means another 2 1/2 years or so to get down to where I'd not be worried about losing any more weight. Daunting is probably the word I'd use, but having taken a longer period than that to put on, not totally insurmountable.
