Health scares
Was talking to my mummy (adults of Norn Iron extraction nearly always call their mother - mummy especially when talking directly to them, it may sound childish, but we don't tend to care about that) this evening and she said that all of her joints seized up yesterday and that she ended up being taken in an ambulance to the area hospital. This is the first time anything like this has ever happened to her and apparently the pain was something else.
She had blood tests and a few injections and tablets and was sent home a good deal more comfortable, so I guess we will have to wait and see. The Dr thinks it is an attack of arthritis, I've never heard of it presenting like this, but then again I'm not a Dr.
My mum thinks she will be okay, but will have to skip work for a while, until she is better. I hope she is right, I did mention that quitting smoking would probably help, but didn't want to push it too much.
Both my Uncle and Annas Uncle have recently had relatively mild strokes in the last few months so I guess that is a sign they are getting on a bit and that we are no longer youngsters.

The problem with blogs
I know you are supposed to update your blog regularly, but I have come to the conclusion that I end up being too busy to type in all the things I've been up to.
I've been a very regular visitor to London since the start of January, helping to computerise a GPs surgery. Its a bit of a catch-22 situation and basically all I have been doing is helping to get the paperwork upto date, rather than actually helping to get his practise and patient details on to the Management Information System. The client is reasonably happy with progress so far, even if I feel we should really be much further along the road.
Other things I've missed telling anyone about include:

Other things I've missed telling anyone about include:
- Taz having an operation to remove a growth on her gum.
- Taz getting fatter rather than thinner. Her insulanoma is proving a tough nut to crack.
- Still haven't got over to see my Sister since before Christmas, thus we still haven't got our Christmas presents from the relatives.
- Me smashing the back window of the car while reversing.
- My nephew Peppe having a visit to ENT consultant, which resulted in a set of tweezers being pushed up his noise to remove a piece of plastic he pushed up his nose almost 2 years ago. Apparently this was to blame for his complaint about not being able to breath in the mornings and quite a number of colds.
- Peppe after having an eyesight test is likely to have as bad eyesight as his father, poor wee man will have to wear glasses in school, hope he doesn't get teased too much - although thinking about that he would probably blatter the head of anyone who tried.
I hate forgetting passwords
Passwords are the bane of my life, I hate them as they tend to lock me out (just as intended) when I forget them, as I normally tick the box to allow any site to remember me. Of course then you periodically get kicked off the site and are then asked to reenter the password, which of course you can't remember as you don't use it often enough for it to get burned into your brain.
