Vistaprint Scam
Well it had to happen, I've been scammed on the internet. Anyone who knows me knows that I never sign-up of anything that could be remotely to do with reward schemes or discount schemes as I don't like getting tracked and sent loads of marketing junk mail.
Having used Vistaprint.co.uk previously without any hassle I was surprised to see a £9.95 charge on reviewing my credit card statement for this month.
I remembered a recent complaint about Vistaprint on a forum I read and started to do a bit of searching to see if there was any similar problems to mine. Sure enough when searching google there were plenty of similar souls scammed by vistaprint, MSN had knowledge of vistaprint scams and even yahoo had hundreds of fraudulent transactions .
Why would any company with such a winning concept as theirs be so stupid or naive as to try and make a quick buck. Are they really that stupid? Have they no concept of customer loyalty and how to keep it? Have they never read anything on customer service?
This is a company worth an apparent $1.262 billion with 7 million odd customers at the time of writing. Okay they weren't making a whole lot of money out of me, but they were my first call for printing, BUT NOT ANYMORE, if my experience is anything to go by I'd say it is a definite stock to sell.
Hell have no fury like a customer scorned.

Hi i'm in the same boat as you, just realised they have "stolen" (i can't think of a better word, i never signed up for such program, receieved mail of such program, it's been done on the quiet) £50 of my hard earned money. (Plus the £30 the cards cost me in the first place - Total - £80 odd for some GOD AWFUL quality business cards, could have printed them off my inkjet printer on LOW settings and got better quality)
Any idea if i have a chance in hell of getting this back?
thanks

yer, its a scam- and really hard to contact the people to cancel it!
best bet is to call your credit card company and back charge all the transactions, or write a letter. this works!!!

The same thing happened to my husband.
Tried our credit card company, impossible to cancel. The monthly charge was set up as standing order without consent.
People should not be allowed to get away with things like this.
Vulnerable potential customers/victims of vistaprint -'rob you blind', be careful!
The best way to avoid being ripped off by that thieving company is - 'DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM, EVER.'

I recently ordered some 'free' cards and too late realised I'd signed up for the Rewards Scheme. However the 'Welcome to our Rewards Scheme' e-mail gave this link http://www.vprewards.com/ and from there you are able to unsubscribe to the scheme. But thanks for the comments as they stimulated me into action. By the way I did contact my Visa card supplier to ask them to ignore any demands for £9.95 from Vistaprint but they said this was not possible and I had to cancel it at the Vistaprint end.

I used VistaPrint for all my printing and they are a good Company. I am tried of people giving the Company a bad name simple because they don't spend time to read the £10.00 cash back. VistaPrint sends all their promotions via email or their website. So if you are offered £10.00 cash back PLEASED READ! Don’t just click away at every page and enter your email because you maybe signing up for something you don't need and don't even remember that you have done so after a few days.
For those who said they never received their £10.00 cash back this is what you need to do to redeem the money: If you don't have a SPAM blocker on your computer. 2-4hrs after joining the program you would receive an email with your membership ID# just simply click through the link which takes you to www.dealpass.com enter your ID# and zip code to redeem your cash.
Also 7-10 days after joining you receive another email stating that you have joined the program and you will be charged after 30 days 9.95, you can cancel at anytime by clicking the cancel option or call VistaPrint customer service 1-800-961-2075.
Please remember you are purchasing on the internet and all online Companies have Affiliate Partnership who offers to sell you something or the other. Please read carefully before entering your email address or selecting any offers except for what you are purchasing. If you are not sure about something just take up the phone and call Customer Service at 1-800-961-2075 it is that simple!
Also don’t you think if VistaPrint was ripping off people they would be out of business a long time ago?

Well Vista Print are ripping me off.
I have never had a member no. or anything.
I also have pop-up blocker enabled on my PC so how am i supposed to have agreed to this reward scheme.
Vista print never answer the phone and do not reply to emails.
They did a great job with my bussiness cards but i am disgusted with what i have been through since.

I've also fallen foul to the VPRewards/Vistaprint scam. They've taken about £80 from my account since April 06.
I've spent most of today on the phone to the bank and Vistaprint trying to get my money back. I've now had to cancel my bank card to ensure they can't present any more payments.

hi, i am yet another victim of the vistaprint scam, Today had a telling off from my son, to which he had let me use his card to purchase calendars before Christmas, Today i found they have taken 9.95 out of his bank for some VPrewards or something, to which i knew nothing about. I have rang vistaprint and theu reckon they will reimburse the money within the next 4/5 days and will not take any more , watch this space, hope they stop taking my lads money , he is going balistic at me ! Vista are a very nasty company it was the first time i had ordered from them and definately will be the last. If you wish to comment to me, please contact me at brummieangel2003@aol.com Thankyou
Hi, does anyone have the contact number for vista print?? I have been a victim of a scam too! 3 months so far...... thanks
Ok, I have the number for VPrewards. 08456722002
I ened up phoning them and telling them my membership number (found on one of their Emails) and my name. I then told them to remove ALL details of my account, as i hadnt signed up for anything. They then went into some rubbish about completing a survey on the vitaprint site which, apparently, then turns into a billable 9.95 charge after a free trail (with a 30 day cancellation period).
I told them that the passing of financial details between organisations in this way is illegal, and that if they didnt remove my details and cancel any charging mechanisms then i would sort this out the 'old fashioned way'.
HE SHAT HIS PANTS AND CONFIRMED THAT MY DETAILS HAD BEEN REMOVED AND THAT NO CHARGES WOULD BE MADE.
I urge all other scam sufferers to do the same.
Grant.

Me too. And I'm always so vigilent. Morgan Stanley refused to help also; I thought credit card companies were really hot on fruad. I can't even cancel my card because I need a three month preiod with 0 transactions - which isn't going to happen if Vistaprint keep stealing £9.95 every month. Have contacted trading standards and BBC watchdog. I urge you to do the same.
Barro, if you are in the UK the legislation says that Morgan Stanley are joint and severally liable for any transaction. Therefore you you back to them and say that that they are jointly liable of a transaction and that you want it stopped.
Hi the same thing has happened to me.
They have taken 6 payments of £9.95 out of my debit account since January for vprewards and a clubprem reward scheme...which both I did not authorise. I have spoken to vprewards directly and they said that they can prove I signed up to it and would not refund me. But they soon realised that too many payments had been taken from account and quickly said they would refund me some of them? when I mentioned watchdog had been notified they very quickly said that 'nothing 'sneaky' is happening with your account details'. Vistaprint cancelled my membership and so have vprewards..just have to hold my breath for the refund now but not too hopeful and am filing a dispute with my bank and their security department to investigate further. They said if it is in the fine print then vistaprint are likely to get away with it!
I recommend you all keep as much evidence and records of contact with them to give to your banks, as they need all evidence if you are to get a successful outcome.

Yup I'm another one! I only noticed it AFTER they took £9.95 for the second time. However I did get through to them and they immediately said they would refund my money. They must know that they have made a big mistake there must be hundreds if not thousands of people that have been scammed like this IT IS a scam as well cos who in their right mind looking for a deal on Calendars cards etc would accept this? It is done surreptitiously.Anyway lesson learn t. Pity because the product was good but I wont be using them again.
Exactly the same thing has happened to me. My credit card Company (Amex) have been excellent and are going to reverse the charges. They have stolen £9.95 for the last 8 months. I have reported them to the OFT and let BBC watchdog know. I urge others to do the same!!!
Hi,
I've just had exactly the same experience. I looked on the website and you need a member ID to log in - which I obviously don't have. I emailed for it- no reply. The customer service number for vprewards.com given by my bank is automated only, and any queries are directed to another number which is actually a firm of chartered accountants??
I rang the Vistaprint customer service number and have been assured that the charges will be refunded. Apparently I must have clicked on a pop-up??? I'm sure I would notice if it said we will keep charging your card, and ripping you off. They owe me just under £40 now.
My advice: Ring 0800 288251. Tell them you did not agree to the charges, and ask for a refund. I plan to contact trading standards, Watchdog, whoever and suggest you do the same. I think we should also contact the companies like B&Q, Currys etc. who are advertised as offering a discount, to make them aware of this scam.
I urge you all to do the same as this needs to stop!

A long story follows the ordering of business cards! After being sent some BAD quality business cards, I never imagined that the story could go too far... I tried to email them: NO EMAIL Customers Care Service! Off course I started being suspicious as even the local corner shop would have one!
The worst are to follow: This story kept for 3 months, being charged £19.90 every single month for 2 reward programs, vpreward.com and clubprem.com as these appear at my statement. Even though I noticed the charge FROM THE VERY FIRST STATEMENT, I thought that it must have been an additional shipping charge for which I didn't pay much attention (very unlikely to happen for a person reading the small printing as well). Said, ok, I must be wrong. Second month the same. Tried to login in the sites I was supposed to have registered using my usual usernames. Of course didn't work! Next step: e-mail them. Please stop, delete me from your files and stop charging my credit card. No response, waiting for the next statement. After two weeks I realized nothing changed. Taking the 3rd statement on hands I started calling like crazy: First was Natwest. They told me that I had agreed to the purchase and I should contact them (still wondering how would they know). Then was vprewards.com and clubprem.com. Some foreigners on the phone, pretending to being helpful and after showing em my anger I m supposed to have earned 1 month refund (yet to know). Told me that for additional refund there is a more complicated procedure including calling and writing to their US office! Couldn't do that cause I was shaking already 2 hours on trying to resolve the matter over the phone. WORST OF ALL: when I called vistaprint.co.uk and asked them to delete my account and credit card details they said that this cannot be done!!!! FOR GOD'S SHAKE, these people still have all my details! Once a sucker, always a sucker, guys, I m here if you need more cash!! Check the website to see by yourself: no way of editing any details apart from name address etc! By the way, a suggestion for the website's homepage: thank you for your custom, you ll pay it for your rest of your life!!

Seems I also signed up to vprewards.com and clubprem.com when buying some cards from vistaprint without knowing both for 9.95 a month. Contacted vistapring three months ago but they are still taking the money each month from my credit card. Now trying to get my user ID details from each one so I can go to their sites to cancel my membership . Has anybody ever got their money back from these companies?June 2007.
Just had exactly the same, rang them (in Jamaica) and they've said they're refunding my money. I didn't click on a pop-up of fill in a survey, I never fill in surveys.
A number of people have complained that they have had money taken from Credit Card Accounts without express permission, apparently after using Vistaprint. We have set up a support website on Yahoo http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/Vistaprintnetscam to co-ordinate complaints and take action, some people are reporting losses of over 100 pounds before they noticed it. The lesson is of course be careful what you click on! However of greater concern is that the company behind the VPrewards, Andrew Millet's Adaptive affinity limited in the UK,is a data marketing company, potentially selling the users information as well as taking (until noticed) 9.99 Sterling out peoples accounts per month for what seems like very little. We would like more people to join us to use the data protection act to find out who the information is being given to and more worryingly how secure the credit card information is.

Hi same thing happened to me tried to contact them but my credit card company quite helpfull i cant believe this can happen i will be very carefull in the future i lost about £60 .I will not be using this company AGAIN !!!!
still happenning, for 2-3 years global identity theft conspiracy generating millions, just google "vistaprint scam" they are above the law obviously.
NOTICE TO ALL WHO HAVE BEEN SCAMMED BY VISTAPRINT. I was 'caught' like a lot of you. But write to: Adaptive Affintity House Ltd., Wisteria Ground Floor, Cavendish House, 369-391 Burnt Oak Broadway, Edgeware, Middlesex, HA8 5AW.These are the people who are taking your money, and have the power to stop , and reimburse you. Threaten legal action. They reimbursed my the full amount. Also tell your bank. This is a long term scam (earliest I can find is 2003). Under FSA ruling you are entitled to be reimbursed by your bank. Also inform trading standards. Mine called me yesterday to say they are getting more and more complaints about Vistaprint, and are taking all this on board to slap them down. I had to close my whole bank account to stop the payments comming out.I had phoned the number vistaprint give you, (Bahamas)!, ok freephone, all assured it would stop. IT DOESN'T!!!! They carry on taking the money. Get your bank. trading standards involved. A big fight but you do get it bank. Like many others I will never buy from Vistaprint again.
Hi, I also have been robbed of £9.85 monthly by vista print scam. Only way to stop it is to get new credit card - you can cancell by phone but after the monthly wait you might find yourself another £9.95 down.
I'm going to contact Watchdog and the Metro

Don't panic: people in the UK, go on to the vprewards website, send an email, giving your postcode, asking to cancel your subs. Make it clear you have not knowingly subscribed. Then, print it out BEFORE hitting the send icon.
Then, armed with your written evidence, phone 0845 672 2002 and politely ask for your money back. I did that, and they said they will refund in full. I'm keeping the print-out just in case. Then send an email to vistaprint telling them off!
I only found out I was being 'scammed' when talking to someone about the excellent company vistaprint when she said 'check your credit card statement, apparently they are scamming people £10 a month' and when I did I was amazed to find that I'd been relieved of nearly £30.

yeah, me to, 3 payment of £9.95. The stupid thing is i have spent over a £1000 with them in the last 12 month great products and delivery, was looking to spend £2000 in the next 12 months, not now off course.
They improve their cash and stock, the diretors will sell their shares, and then free fall. I think this is a bigger scam than my £30

hi ive been conned also.. have contacted watch dog ..will be on the phone to the papers as well and trade standards.. as they say " hell hath no fury as a woman scorned" and they have def chose the wrong bitch to con i will do all in my power to make sure this company stop this robbing from our hard earned b/accounts.. as the banks seem unable to stop these without a lenghy process
im the ultimate in web safty and was really hurt to be stung with this scam and could not believe it. Anyway once noticing the entries on my bank statement after ordering a rubber stamp which by the way was poor quality and i could have bought half the price on ebay. I conatcted my bank who told me they get loads of phone calls every week on the same scam and they are powerless to stop it as by ordering i have authorised them to use my card. Things got worse when i asked them to cancel my card and i was told as this scam was subscription based they could still take money form my account which i could not believe. I searched the net and could not believe how much i found from what was such a huge reputable company like Vistaprint. Did they really think it was worse getting all this bad press who could tell. At long last i found a UK based number and i told them that it was a business order and i was using a business debit card and i only had the authority to order the stationary and was not in a legal position to subscribe to any memberships using these card details. I stayed calm but felt i was given a parrot read script that the membership would be cancelled and money refunded in 3-4 weeks. I asked for this in writing as advised by my bank. As they said that was the only possible chance i had of a fraud compliant if they took more money. I also found a fax number and faxed a letter to the same effect but also added that my job was on the line over this as it looke like i had used the company card. Of course i was not as i am a one man band and would not be sacking myself just still kicking myself for getting into this in the first place. Anyway a couple of sleepness nights followed. I know it was just £19.80 but i was so annoyed. 2 days later to my disbelive a letter turned up promising a refund and that my subscriptions were cancelled. It also contained a proper uk address which cheered me up as if no refund came now at least i could do legal proceedings which you cant do on foreign or po box address. Then 4 days later to my amazement my refund arrived. Now i did something which was a bit naughty but after what i went through i did not have second thoughts and that was i rang Vistaprint and told them i had not had any goods and i was prusing my money back. I was offered a credit or replacement. As i never ever had plans of ordering from them again i accepted a duplicate order. Prehaps this makes me a thief and no better then them. But i say if they can do what they are doing to people they can afford it and its just desearts.
im absolutely bloody annoyed with myself.i,ve worked it out i have lost £120.I,VE BEEN IN TOUCH WITH THE BANK AND THEY HAVE CANCELLED MY CARD WHICH WAS USED TO BUY THE VISTAPRINT ITEM.I THINK ITS A DISGRACE THAT THIS IS HAPPENING.I WILL FIGHT THIS TO THE END.I WILL TRY TO GET A REIMBURSEMENT.TRADING STANDARDS WILL BE INFORMED AS WELL.I WILL ALSO TRY TO E-MAIL THE SAME DEPARTMENT IN THE USA.PLEASE EVERYONE ,LETS TRY TO FIGHT THIS AND GET OUR MONEY BACK
We should boycott all companies that do this sort of thing. Tell all your friends not to use vistaprint, tell them to tell their friends too. Until they learn better they will carry on doing it.
Also interflora is doing the same sort of scam only it costs £8. Tell your friends not to use them, tell them to tell their friends not to use them.
We have to stamp this practice out. If the Government won't do it, we should.

Hi
In the same boat as the rest of you luckily I noticed it on the first credit card statement. So cancelled my card who seemed to know all about it but said they were powerless, well we all know thats unprintable rubbish. My suggestion is that everyone reports vistaprint.co.uk and .com as a phishing site all you need to do is click on the icon that appears down the bottom of the explorer window and you can report them as a phishing site. If everyone does this in the end the site wont load and hopefully they will go out of business. Or at least spead a lot of monet setting up again!!!!

Caught out! On VP web site, you will find their address. I have written to them and gone to the hassle of changing my card number. Phoning them is a nightmare, I have had number not available coming up. Good luck fellow victims.

Yet another victim. Told the bank my card had been comprimised and they have issued new cards with different numbers so they say it should be ok. Also got money back from bank whilst their fraud dept. looks into it. Good old A&L. 10/10
Like many people I have been “scammed” by VistaPrint. They are saying that I didn’t check or uncheck a box for a Reward Scheme and that they notified me twice that they were going to take monthly amounts out of my account of between £9.95 and £11.95.
I confess I do not check my bank statements thoroughly, but that still does not give Companies the right to take my money without my consent. Also, like many people, I did not check or uncheck the box and any notification probably went into my junk mail account. They certainly carried on regardless of any permission. The sum total over 16 months was £169.20.
Having read the comments on various web sites I adopted one lady’s approach. I bombarded everyone who dealt with them by email and copied them on each one (80 mails in two days!). Most of these emails were to the Directors and Members of the American Small Business Development Centre Network of whom VistaPrint is a Bronze Supporter. I also emailed companies who are participants on the Rewards Scheme, Curry’s and Nationwide Autocentre being two. I could not find any others although I believe John Lewis may be one. In addition I wrote personal letters to them at 69-391 Burnt Oak Broadway, Edgware, HA8 5XZ but this was returned by the Post Office marked “No such address”. I then wrote to their President in Bermuda and to my MP and to their MP in Edgware. My MP who is also the Deputy Speaker is taking the matter up with the Minister for Trade and Consumer Affairs and with Trading Standards. I have also filed a “Fraud” report with the Metropolitan Police.
After receiving an email promising a full refund last week only £39.80 was paid into my account. I then wrote to Adaptive Affinity Ltd., Cavendish House, 369 Burnt Oak Broadway, Edgware, HA8 5AW and to VistaPrint Rewards at P.O Box 587, Edgware, HA8 4DX. I sent the letter Recorded Delivery and Recorded Receipt and said I was instigating action in the Small Claims Court (I had sent for the court papers that day!).
In two days I have had several personal emails and phone calls promising the full refund. Today I have checked with my credit card company and in fact and despite all, this has now been paid in full.
For every person who goes to great length to get £169.20 back there will be perhaps 17 who can not get £9.95 back because mainly the effort outweighs the reward! This is where they make their millions and VistaPrint in the USA are worth in excess of 105 Million Dollars as at January 2008!
DO NOT LET THEM GET AWAY WITH IT! PURSUE, PURSUE, PURSUE!

Adaptive have more than one company. If you call their number you get
Press 1 for VPRewards
Press 2 for PremierClub
Press 3 for (I think) BusMaxGold
Press 4 for highstreetmax.com
I am currently having a dispute with them trading as highstreetmax.com. I noticed a pattern of £14.95 disappearing out of my credit card account. Eventually figured out what it was, namely some sort of retails benefits company.
Now in the four months I had received no mail about, either written or electronic, advising me that I was supposedly a member, what the benefits were, etc.
After much chasing today I finally got to speak to someone at highstreetmax. Supposedly during a lastminute.com transaction in March I allegedly signed up with highstreetmax, allegedly accepting a £10 voucher, and agreed to a subscription in doing so unless I wrote to them within 30 days. s you have gathered, I dispute agreeing the voucher, still less receiving or using one, still less agreeing to a subscription.
Contrary to having a "highly acclaimed no-questions-asked refund policy", (see the Daily Mirror site, dated July 10th) not only are questions being asked but while they would offer to cancel the membership they are not very keen on refunding the money they have taken.
I fear I must go through the motions with this. For a company who seem to deal entirely with electronic media they seem to retreat to asking for a written letter when you wish to deal with them. But I shall keep you informed.
Meanwhile, I suggest you are very careful indeed if you want to buy through lastminute.com who, in my view, have not covered themselves in glory by being associated with this.

I have had £9-95 x 2 taken. I called HSBC and gave specific instructions to stop payments.
Followed up bu a letter, I was told this will do the trick. I may have to write off the £9-95 x 2...
Lesson learned !! Bummer !!!

VistaPrint got me as well. In total they stole £252.05!!!
I have done quite a lot of research into who is behind VistaPrint's websites and what else they are doing. What I found out is published here http://www.hubbers.com/blog/index.php/i-got-scammed-by-vistaprint-and-adaptive-marketing-and-adaptive-affinity-ltd-and-amazon/
If you can find out anything else like email addresses or names of the managers or owners of these dodgy companies please let me know.
I have set up an online petition stating that Amazon should stop circulating advertising material for VistaPrint. Hopefully if we get enough signatures Amazon will stop doing business with these scammers and we will get them where it hurts the most … their bank account!

I've had the same trouble 2 months and 9.95 per month later- Nov 2008, UK.
DO NOT USE VISTAPRINT THEY ARE CROOKS!
DO NOT USE VISTAPRINT THEY ARE CROOKS!
I have been caught but have had the money refunded. I suggest everyone who has been victims to contact the BBC Watchdog programme, if everyone does this then something has to be done surely.
Check Adaptive infinities 2007 accounts filed on the Companies House website and you will see that Vertue Inc (USA) paid VistaPrint £669,821 commision on behalf of Adaptive Afinity(Edgware).AA in turn paid £850,000 to Vertue Inc. I WONDER WHY?
I moved my blog post with all the details of all of the different scamming sites Adaptive Affinity/Vistaprint run.

Bloody theiving sods i,ve been done they took 2x 9.95 from my account twice in the space of 2 days and then add insult to injury when you ring you cant speak to them in person they just leave a message telling you to cancel if you wish, by that time they've already taken the money and dont intend to give it back. HOW MANY POEPLE HAVE THEY DONE THIS TO THIS WEEK THEY MUST BE MAKING MILLIONS! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED! VISTA PRINT
I purchased 250 business cards from Vistaprint and I haven't received them. I contacted their customer service a couple of times and they wrote me back that they will send me the order again for free. The parcel should arrive next friday, but after reading all the comments about this company, I fear that I won't receive anything. At least I didn't pay too much, about 40 euros. So far they didn't charge my credit card for unwanted services, but if they do I will surely block my card and report this fraud to the police.
SUCCESS! SUCCESS! I MANAGED TO GET MY MONEY BACK!!!
After failing to get through to Vistaprint’s incredulous set up here in the UK and having to change my credit card number to stop them charging me! I wrote to GeoTrust who is the internet security comapny they use on there main sites. They were very disapointed to hear that people were being fraudulently charged when vistaptint were using their logo and services. Anyway they wrote to someone in Vistaprint USA who was “shocked” at the state of affairs. Anyway “Ashley” was very helpful and did actually arrange the return of 7 x £9.95 charges made to my credit card. I think you should give up with UK vistaprint if you are being charged, change your card dont wait for vistaprint to stop charging they just won’t. Contact Geotrust on their site and provide them all the details including any e-mails and also your account number with Vistaprint. They can still credit your account if you have changed you account number.
Hope this helps.
James

HOW TO GET A REFUND!
THIS APPLIES TO ALL WEBSITES OPERATED BY ADAPTIVE AFFINITY - PHONE NUMBERS AND EMAIL ADDRESSES ALL BASED IN THE SAME OFFICE IN LONDON...
Dear all, I have recently had a rather nasty encounter with Adaptive Affinity - and their website www.rewardsnow.co.uk
I never agreed to sign up to this website, and found myself being charged £14.95 a month without permission!
How did I get a refund? Well it did take a number of emails and phonecalls but eventually I did succeed.
First try and negotiate a refund over the telephone - 08450261098
If this fails send an email complaining to the following addresses:
contact@rewardsnow.co.uk
contact@highcreditscore.co.uk
contact@adaptiveaffinity.com
all email addresses are in the same office and answered by the same staff...
In your email request that they send you verified proof that you have an account with them.
They will send you a pdf document showing your ip address and street address and your email address. However there are no details about the website that you supposedly signed up for! CHALLENGE THEM ON THIS!!
Secondly it is likely that they will claim to have sent you a 'welcome email' when you were signed up to the fraudlant website... Obviously you will not have recieved this email - this is a lie - they never send an email and rely on the fact that you will not be able to prove this....
If using a company / buisness email account get somebody in the IT dept to confirm you never recieved any confirmation email on the day that they tell you they sent it....
If using other email clients try contacting them for a list of recieved emails on that day..
Forward this information to these stealing scoundrels, and inform them that unless they give you a full refund within 7 days you will be forced to take this case to the small claims courts...
Result - less than 24 hours later I have been promissed a full refund within 3 working days!
I have reported this company to relevant bodies but in the meantime keep an eye out - and if you do get affected follow the above steps to reclaim what they have stolen from you...
I hope this helps somebody else who has been affected by this scam.. good luck

Whats the problem with them stealing from your account? Just call your bank and tell them not to make any payments to vistaprint! Simple as!
I had a similar problem. However it got resolved fairly quickly. They asked had I 'ticked' anything at the bottom of the order form. I cannot recall ticking anything that would sign me up for something costing £9.95 per month.
I think the tick must be there and unless you DE-tick they are going to sign you up!
After a few phonecalls and several emails I did get the money refunded to my card.
Don't give up.... go for it.
First of all cancel with the bank and THEN start to ring/email vista print. Don't give up until you have got it resolved.

Yay for google... Nearly gave these people my details. And this company is still operating after 3 years???
Ive just looked at my bank statement and they have taken £19.95 I have no idea where they got my bank details but I have called my bank and I will put a stop to these complete thieves
Thanks for all of your comments above, because without this overwhelming amount of evidence against VistaPrint, I probably would've bought something from them too - and faced the same dilemma. There probably is some roundabout way of ordering something and avoiding the scam, but I can't say it'd be worth it if I'm honest. Thanks again!
its not just vistaprint that is being run from this address they offerd me a credit rating check which i declined only to find out they had taken £29.99 from my account how they got my bank details i will never know but i will take whatever action i need to to get my money back even if it means a violent confrontation iv worked hard for my money and im not going to let some conman steal it
Yes, yet another, worse in my case as i did not have access to my credit card account for two years, working abroad, on return i was shocked to find £9.95 had been taken out ever month for something called VPAWARDS and a further £9.95for Premier club thats well over £400. My fault in part for not checking statements but i do feel ripped off and i am going to try and get my money back, any assistance would be welcome
